Senior Analyst, Business Intelligence, London

S-RM is looking for a Senior Analyst to join the Middle East and North Africa desk within our Business Intelligence division.

Role and Responsibilities

We are seeking candidates who have:

  • Fluency in Arabic or Farsi (reading and speaking);
  • 2 years’ experience in business intelligence or a complementary sector, such as management consultancy, legal or government research.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate:

  • In-depth understanding of commercial and political environments across the MENA region;
  • Strong analytical and research skills;
  • Excellent writing and editorial skills;
  • A track record of delivering complex research projects within tight deadlines.

Successful candidates will report to the head of the MENA desk and immediately assume responsibility for leading due diligence investigations utilising open source intelligence. Senior analysts also have frequent opportunities to contribute to specific elements of more complex projects, such as on-the-ground investigations based on intelligence provided by our contacts. Experienced analysts often travel to their regions with their teams to work on investigations and to develop S-RM’s contact network.

There are opportunities for dynamic, talented analysts with strong leadership and organisational skills to progress rapidly within our growing Business Intelligence division. We provide a mixture of internal and external training for senior analysts to assist with their development, in addition to mentoring and ongoing support for their careers.

Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK without visa sponsorship. Candidates will need at least a 2:1 degree to be considered for the role.
